— MEET THE THERAPIST
Compassionate, Trauma-Informed Therapy
Experiencing daily emotions of sadness or worry can be overwhelming. It can feel even worse when you don’t know who or where to turn for comfort. I work to create that environment clients are looking for to feel peace and support. I welcome clients looking to seek assistance dealing with past and/or present trauma, anxiety, depression, women’s issues, or other life changes causing adjustment disturbances. I also work to help couples get back on track by learning techniques to manage conflict, create shared meaning in their relationship, and build intimacy and connection.
I earned my undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in Childhood Studies and Sociology. I continued at Rutgers and earned a Masters in Social Work with a concentration in Children and Mental Health. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Integrative Treatment of Complex Trauma for Adolescents, and I am a Certified Counseling Trauma Professional (CCTP). I am also trained in Levels I and II of The Gottman Method for Couples. Each client’s treatment is individualized to their personal needs. As a Certified Clinical Supervisor, I am very passionate in helping clients directly, and also guiding other therapists to do the same.

​My experience entails working in government, agency, and private practice settings. I have over a decade of experience in the mental health field, working with all ages throughout my career. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults. I was the Director of a Behavioral Health in an outpatient setting and a private practice while also maintaining my own caseload of private clients. I bring all of my experience, knowledge, and education to private practice to create the best possible outcomes for my clients.
